01 Overview
Welcome to Block Burst ("the Game", "we", "our", or "us"), developed and maintained by Delwar Hossain. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you download, install, and play Block Burst on your mobile device.
By downloading or playing Block Burst, you agree to the handling of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.
Block Burst is designed to be played seamlessly offline. We do not operate custom user databases or track you across the internet.
02 Information We Collect
We believe in data minimization. The only data processed fall into two categories:
A. Game Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The game utilizes Android's local preferences storage (SharedPreferences) to store your ongoing game state locally on your device:
- High Scores & Statistics: Best scores, lines cleared, combo counts in Classic and Blitz modes.
- Game Progress: Saved board tile layout so you can pause and resume playing anytime.
- In-Game Virtual Currency: Coins earned through gameplay, milestones, and daily rewards.
- Achievements & Streaks: Badges unlocked, daily login streak count, and last claim timestamp.
- Audio Preferences: Sound effects (SFX) and background music volume/mute toggles.
This data remains strictly on your device and is never uploaded to any proprietary server.
B. Automatically Collected Technical Data (Via Third-Party SDKs)
When connected to the internet, our integrated advertising provider (Google AdMob) automatically collects certain diagnostic and technical device information:
- Device Identifiers: Google Advertising ID (AAID / GAID), Android OS version, device model and manufacturer.
- Network & Telemetry: General IP address (used to infer country or approximate city-level region for language/ad formatting), network connection type (Wi-Fi or cellular).
- Ad Engagement Data: Ad views, clicks, completion of rewarded video ads, and fraud prevention signals.
03 Information We Do NOT Collect
To eliminate any ambiguity, Block Burst does NOT collect, request, access, or store:

Block Burst partners with reputable third-party service providers who operate under their own independent privacy policies:
Google AdMob & Google Play Services
We use Google AdMob (a service provided by Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd.) to display banner ads, full-screen interstitial ads, and optional rewarded video ads (e.g. to double daily bonuses or obtain continues).
Google AdMob may collect and process information such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and interaction data to serve contextual or personalized advertisements and prevent fraudulent clicks.

Our declaration in the Google Play Console Data Safety form accurately reflects that Device IDs may be collected by Google AdMob for Advertising and Analytics, with data encrypted in transit.
05 How We Use Information
The information collected is used exclusively for legitimate app-related purposes:
- Game State Persistence: To remember your high scores, unlocked achievements, coins, and settings so your experience continues smoothly.
- Ad Serving & Monetization: To deliver advertisements that sustain free development, and grant in-game coin rewards when you elect to watch rewarded videos.
- Fraud Prevention & Diagnostics: To detect bot clicks, prevent ad abuse, and ensure technical stability across diverse Android devices.
- Customer Support: If you contact us via email, we use your message solely to troubleshoot your issue or reply to your question.
06 Data Storage, Retention & Deletion
Because we do not maintain external servers with your player profiles, you maintain 100% control over your data at all times:
- Where is data saved? Exclusively in sandboxed private storage on your mobile device.
- How to delete your data? You can delete all game progress, scores, coins, and preferences at any time by navigating to your device's Settings > Apps > Block Burst > Storage > Clear Storage / Clear Data, or by simply uninstalling the application.
- Third-party retention: Information collected by Google AdMob is retained according to Google's standard data retention schedules (typically up to 9-18 months for anonymized ad logs).
07 Advertising Choices & Opt-Out
You have full control over personalized advertising on your Android device:
How to Reset or Opt-Out of Personalized Ads:
- Open the Settings app on your Android device.
- Scroll down and tap Google (or Privacy depending on your Android version).
- Select Ads or Ad privacy.
- Tap Delete advertising ID or toggle Opt out of Ads Personalization.
Note: Opting out does not reduce the number of ads shown, but ads will be generic/contextual rather than based on your browsing interests.
08 Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Block Burst is classified as a general-audience casual puzzle game rated Everyone (E) by IARC. We do not specifically target children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area), nor do we knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children.
If a parent or guardian discovers that their child has provided personal information or has concerns regarding third-party ad delivery, please contact us immediately at delwarh543@gmail.com, and we will take prompt remedial action.
09 Your Legal Rights (GDPR & CCPA / CPRA)
Depending on your jurisdiction (such as the European Union under GDPR or California under CCPA/CPRA), you may enjoy specific statutory rights:
- Right to Know / Access: The right to understand what personal data is collected and processed.
- Right to Deletion: The right to request the erasure of your personal data. (You can execute this immediately by uninstalling the Game or clearing app data).
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale / Sharing: We do not sell your personal data. For personalized ad sharing performed by Google AdMob, you can exercise opt-out controls via your Android device settings.
- Non-Discrimination: We will never discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
10 Data Security
We take appropriate and reasonable technical safeguards to protect your experience:
- Local game data is protected by the Android application sandbox, preventing other unauthorized apps from reading your saved game states.
- All network requests made by third-party SDKs (such as AdMob ad requests) utilize encrypted Transport Layer Security (HTTPS / TLS) in transit.
